A five-year-old Wix site became a clear, modern customer journey — without losing the search demand it had built.
Read the Crazy4Cryptos case study9 House opened in August 2026 in an old Lanna timber house on Loi Kroh Road — one floor up, behind a courtyard. It had never had a website. Leadforge built 9house.tattoo: art direction from the room itself, a selection of the real work, and a clear way to a WhatsApp enquiry or up the right staircase.

PROJECT SNAPSHOT
The site deliberately has no booking system and shows no prices — enquiries reach a person. It is English-only, at the studio’s request.
WHAT THE WEBSITE DOES FOR 9 HOUSE
Dark timber, warm light, work hung in gilt frames: the site is lit like the room, using the studio’s own photos of the house and its work.
Screen by screen checked against the agreed design
What the design mockup invented — sample reviews, placeholder contacts, a “Book now” button — was not built.
See the evidencePeople judge a studio by its strongest pieces. The work page shows a selection, not an archive, and every piece names its artist.
12 of 65 finished-work photos chosen
7 by Tom, 3 by Golf, 2 by James — credited only where the source folder proves it.
See the selectionThe enquiry opens WhatsApp with the message already written; Instagram and Messenger get honest “Copy & open” buttons. Every directions button opens the exact pin, and the visit page shows the address in Thai for the driver.
1 verified place link behind every directions button
The link the studio had been sharing opened a Google search, not the studio.
See the way inHome page, five runs each on a simulated mid-range phone and on desktop. The median is shown, the spread underneath.
A new website, so there is no before — only the dated state. On the phone test the reception photo is the largest element, and Lighthouse’s breakdown puts most of the time after the photo has arrived: the delay is in showing it, not in downloading it. The visit page, where enquiries start, scores 93 on the phone (LCP 3.0 s).
Lighthouse 12.8.2, run locally on 15 September 2026 against the live site: first visit without a consent choice, production scripts untouched. PageSpeed Insights runs the same engine on Google’s servers, so its numbers vary slightly from run to run.
THE WORK
Out of 65 photos of finished tattoos, 12 went on the work page and 5 on the homepage — someone judging a studio looks at its strongest pieces. Each piece names its artist only where the source folder proves it: 7 by Tom, 3 by Golf, 2 by James.
The 11 supplied videos stayed off the homepage although a video hero was on the wish list: all were 540 × 960 portrait clips, and none showed the room well enough to open the site with.

FROM INTEREST TO THE DOOR
The Maps link the studio had been sharing opened a Google search, not the studio. Every directions button now opens the exact place from one shared, verified link, and the visit page adds the Thai address to show a driver.
The enquiry form asks for the idea, placement, size and colour, then opens WhatsApp with the message already written. The visitor only presses send.
Instagram and Messenger don’t accept a pre-written message. After testing on an iPhone, those buttons became “Copy & open”: the site copies the text and says so, instead of pretending.

If people judge your work online first and then need to find your door, we can look at how your website handles both.
WHAT THE SITE DOES
Built for the moment a tattoo enquiry starts: on a phone, with the best work up front and a path that leads straight to a message or the right door.
EVIDENCE STATE · SEPTEMBER 2026
The studio now has its own place to be found and contacted: the curated work, an enquiry path and the way up the right staircase, indexable in search. The dated performance measurement above is its technical basis.
Search Console, Bing and cookieless analytics have run since the first weeks, so a later update can add dated enquiry and search numbers from the same sources and definitions — once they are large enough to mean something.
We look at how your website shows your place and your work — and how a visitor gets from a first look to a message or your front door.
